Dye all your bird toy parts with our bird-safe color gel. To make only some of the jar: Mix 1 tsp color + 1/4 cup hot water in a small airtight container and shake until mixed, about 30 seconds. Dip items in color or paint on with a foam brush (available from your local craft store). To make all of the jar, mix with hot water on the stove (see easy or hard directions below). Easy Directions: Add to four cups water and stir slowly until it is dissolved and the water is about to boil. Use same day or refrigerate for up to two weeks (otherwise it will grow things). Hard Directions: Add to one cup water and stir slowly until it is dissolved and the water is about to boil. Add one cup ice water to cool. Add two cups of rubbing alcohol or vinegar (this will allow you to store for a while). Note: We find it useful to use a popsicle stick to remove the gel from the jar and stir it while cooking. |
